Saddle Valley has 26 sites with electric hook-ups for horse camping, 16 sites have 20/30 amp and 10 sites have 20 amp hook ups only. We have water close to each site, but not at every site. Bring a long hose and we'll make sure you have water if you want it. All the campsites have fire rings, and we have firewood for sale.
We have a heated bathhouse, with 3 clean showers in each side, men’s and women’s, plenty of hot water, toilets, sinks and a large covered pavilion. We have 43 covered stalls in 5 different barns located around the campground, nine large open pens and a large corral, we do not allow picket lines, but most campsites have hitching rails for tacking up, but do not allow horses tied overnight. We have accommodations for horses, but everyone is welcome.
We have great access to Cumberland Valley Trail head, White Oak Loop, Yellow Face and many more just a short ride from your campsite. The Recreation Area is so large no one can be close to all the trails, you can ride for many days from the campground, but there are miles and miles of trails just a short drive away. We do not have dining facilities, however there are a couple of restaurants in the area, and a grill at the store 2 1/2 miles from the campground.
